What is a data logger?
A data logger is a measuring instrument that automatically gathers and records or logs measured values over time or in relation to location, either using a built-in sensor or external instruments or sensors.
A data logger allows you to measure all kinds of parameters. Examples include temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, light output, energy consumption, water quality, and weather conditions. There are simply no limits to what a data logger can measure and log.

Readings are taken with a built-in or external sensor, and the recorded data is saved so it can be sent to a computer, tablet or mobile phone if desired.
