LI-560 TriSonica Sphere Ultrasonic Anemometer
The LI-560 TriSonica® Sphere Ultrasonic Anemometer delivers high-accuracy 3-dimensional wind speed, direction, and air temperature measurements in a patented spherical design that minimizes structural shadowing and distortion of the wind field.
The LI-560 is an advanced 3-dimensional ultrasonic anemometer that measures wind velocity (U, V, W components), wind direction, and air temperature at high sampling rates. Its unique spherical design dramatically reduces flow distortion and structural shadowing, enabling highly accurate vertical and 3-axis wind measurements in both stationary and mobile research applications.
Built with durable all-aluminum construction and optimized for size, weight, and power (SWaP), the LI-560 is ideal for atmospheric science, meteorological studies, atmospheric boundary layer profiling, environmental research, and integration on unmanned systems such as drones and UAS platforms.
