Character displays are basic. They consist of a certain number of alphanumeric characters displayed on a given number of lines. The size of the display determines how many characters, lines and sizes are possible.
Character displays are available in a range of colours, with or without backlighting, and feature an extensive choice of standard fonts.
If you prefer to be able to see more than just characters, you can choose a graphic display. For further information, go to graphic displays. If you have a display with an RS-232 connection, that’s not a problem because we also have RS-232-compatible displays.

We have several different versions of character displays; LCD, LED and OLED. To determine which type of display best suits customer requirements, we examine what it must show, the environment in which it has to operate and what the customer expects from it. Which factors are important – the ambient temperature, the number of characters displayed or the display’s visibility? All of these aspects are taken into account when determining which is the most suitable choice of display.
