Hobo GUARD-2 – Onset

The anti-fouling protective guard can be used in exchange of the standard protective guard for protection against fouling during deployment. The anti-fouling guard uses copper windings to reduce bio-fouling, while still allowing good water flow to the sensor. this guard is a copper wire that attracts the foul, instead of that foul is settling on the sensor.

Pedak advises customers to clean this protective U26 guard once a while (for instance every 6 months), to make sure that the foul doesn’t accumulate too much.
