To strengthen our ambitious sales team, we are looking for a
Sales Engineer
Technical affinity – Confident – Strong communication skills
As a direct colleague of our enthusiastic sales team members Marcus, Maaike, Siem, Jeroen, Ruud, Elena, Rida, and Dennis, you will be an important contributor to our sales team. Together, you are responsible for a portfolio of customers across various industries. In this role, you work closely with customers, project partners, and colleagues to advise on the right measurement solutions and support successful implementations.
What will you do?

Support customers with technical inquiries related to wireless sensor networks, gateways, and data platforms, in collaboration with the sales manager

Assist in translating customer requirements into clear and accurate quotations

Advise customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany on measurement solutions for air quality, indoor climate, and building management

Prepare (technical) quotations and ensure proper follow-up

Work closely with account managers and other sales colleagues to successfully convert quotations into orders

Monitor the progress of ongoing projects and quotations and communicate proactively with customers

Be responsible for independent order processing

Monitor market developments and identify new opportunities within the building management and industrial sectors

Contribute to maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships

Play a role in acquiring new customers and capitalizing on market opportunities
What do we ask?

Bachelor’s level of thinking and working, preferably in a commercially oriented field
-
Experience in a (technical) sales role is a strong advantage
-
Affinity with or interest in wireless technology, IoT, and sensor networks
-
Affinity with or interest in climate measurements, air quality, and building management
-
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-
A structured and customer-focused approach—customers always come first
-
German language skills are a strong advantage; Dutch and English are required
-
You will mainly work from our office, with willingness to occasionally visit customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany
