Hobo RXW-UCD-xxx – Onset

The HOBOnet wireless pulse input sensor connects to sensors with pulse output. This sensor is compatible with contact closures, such as tipping-bucket rain gauges or reed switches. HOBOnet wireless sensors communicate data directly to the Hobo RX3000 or the Hobo MicroRX station, or pass data through other wireless sensors back to the central station. They are preconfigured and ready to deploy and data is accessed through HOBOlink, Onset’s innovative cloud-based software platform.

The maximum input frequency is 2 Hz (2 pulses per second) for mechanical contact closure. It has a wireless signal range up to 450 to 600 meter and up to five hops, the HOBOnet wireless repeaters (RXW-RPTR-xxx or RXW-RPTR-B-xxx) can be added to extend the range. You can add up to 50 wireless sensors or 336 data channels per Hobo RX station. A simple button push makes sure to join the HOBOnet wireless network and it has an onboard memory to ensure no data loss. It is powered by rechargeable AA batteries and built-in solar panel.
